Everyone knows that Foreclosures, Short Sales and HUDs hurt neighborhood property values. As a real estate professional I applaud any efforts that can help stabilize the flood of distressed properties. If you need help and would like to see if you qualify for any government housing rescue programs please check out the new site, Making Home Affordable.

This is a great site. I have had several people ask for this information and now I can send them to a place to get some answers.
Bryan and Joan thanks for the comments and stopping by.
Vanessa, timely information! Property values are all over the board. I saw today a 'comp' in a neighborhood that was a foreclosure and sat on the market for a while before the purchase. NOT TOO GOOD when comparing with a particular other home that we needed to appraise!
Charlie I know I list short sales and cannot wait until they are no longer the norm. They are killing neighborhood values...
Thanks Vanessa, I'll pass the information along.
Wendy thanks for the comment as always and have a good one.
Wow, this is great, thanks for sharing!

A good resource for clients from the government... a needed assist.
This seems like a good thing. But, if the government is involved is that good or bad?
I certainly hope it is a good thing Brian I am open to good news.
